Sales Representative NSW - Higher Education

In a competitive selling environment, you will be meeting with academics and bookshop personnel at selected Universities throughout New South Wales to promote Cengage Learning’s range of educational textbooks and media products. The position is based in the Sydney office and some country travel is required.

We are looking for someone who has the following skills and attributes:
• Enjoys people contact and able to form great working relationships with key decision makers
• Proactive and autonomous approach, as well as a willing team member
• A creative, positive approach to professional selling
• Ability to think “outside the box” when needed
• Strong oral and written communication abilities
• Keen to learn and demonstrate online resources
• Competency in using computers as a major work tool

Although it would be ideal if you have experience in educational publishing, it is more important that you have lots of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. We are looking for someone who has invested in their own learning and holds a tertiary qualification.

This is a great opportunity for someone to get into a professional selling role in the publishing industry. You will receive thorough initial and ongoing training and plenty of support to succeed and enjoy the position.
