Secondary Sales and Technology Support Coordinator

Cengage Learning, publisher and distributor of award-winning innovative textbook and technology products for the Secondary market, is seeking a Secondary Sales and Technology Support Coordinator to be a key player in our continuing commitment to providing quality service and support.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will provide technical and sales support to our internal and external customers nationally.

Key responsibilities include:
• Magellan Database maintenance
• Provide licensing for resources in electronic format
• Coordinate state and national association affiliations and major sales conference
• Assist and support sales reps with all major external conference requirements
• Providing post-sales support to customers
• Provide technical support for both internal and external customers
• Building relationships with internal and external customers
• Coordinate all aspects of Secondary Custom Publishing

The successful applicant will have:
• Excellent knowledge of Secondary sales market
• Background in customer service, help desk or technical support would be highly regarded
• Technical know how
• Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong presentation and training skills
• The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
• Strong organisational and project planning skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• The ability to prioritise

Customer Service Officer
(Melbourne-based)

Cengage Learning publishes innovative textbook and technology solutions for School, Higher Education, Vocational and Professional and ELT educational sectors in Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer for our Melbourne customer service centre.

This is a full time position that requires a dedicated team member who is totally customer service focused, enjoys liaising with customers over the phone, is computer literate and has a friendly but confident manner.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing outstanding customer service;
• Answering inbound calls;
• Working closely with our dedicated Operations team;
• Maintaining a close working relationship with our customers.

You must be able to demonstrate:
• Excellent communication skills;
• Experience in a similar environment;
• Excellent telephone manner;
• Strong customer service skills;
• Attention to detail;
• Excellent organisational skills;
• The ability to work independently and as part of the team.

The position operates on a 37.5 hour week rostered between the hours of 7.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, when the customer service centre is operational.

The position entails meeting with academics and bookshop personnel at selected universities throughout New Sales Wales to promote Cengage Learning’s educational solutions. This position is based in Sydney.
