Sales and Product Specialist – Library Reference

Cengage Gale, a leading publisher of library reference material, wishes to appoint a highly-motivated, professional sales representative to drive sales and product strategies to meet sales targets for Gale’s specialist library distributors within Australia and New Zealand. This position will ideally be based in our head office in Melbourne.

Responsibilities:
• Develop effective working relationships with key contacts in the Library supplier market
• Develop effective mutually beneficial sales and marketing campaigns
• Assist in the production of sales tools for distributors
• Match product to customers’ needs
• Attend conference and exhibitions
• Provide after sales customer support
• Achieve set sales targets and KPIs

• Proven experience in the library sector, with tertiary qualifications

• Proactive and autonomous approach
• A creative, positive approach to professional selling
• Strong business relationship-building skills
• Outstanding written and oral communication abilities
• Ability to demonstrate online products

This position is ideal for someone who is energetic and results driven. Interstate travel will be required and a driver’s licence is essential.
