Digital Solutions Specialist

Cengage Learning Australia, publisher and distributor of award-winning innovative textbook and technology products for the higher education market in Australia and New Zealand, wishes to appoint a Digital Solutions Specialist to be a key player in our continuing commitment to providing quality service and support in the Higher Education division.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will provide technical and sales support to our internal and external customers in both Australia and New Zealand.  This position is based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities include:
• Provide market and solutions selling and technical expertise to sales representatives in Australia and New Zealand
• Collaborate with sales managers and sales representatives to develop strategic sales strategies in local markets
• Work with the Higher Education sales and marketing teams in leveraging and integrating technologies in all stages of the adoption process
• Work closely with publishing in appropriate business unit to provide product development feedback
• Provide technical support for both internal and external customers
• Building relationships with internal and external customers

The successful applicant will have:
• Excellent knowledge of Higher Education market
• Proven background in educational sales and technical support
• Technical know how
• Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong presentation and training skills
• The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
• Strong organisational and project planning skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• The ability to prioritise
